there is so much work that goes behind every big achievement;
so much struggle. motivations wax and wane, there are points you feel like giving up.

stages where you feel battered to the ground, it's a mission to pick yourself back up again, let alone keep going.
there is so much self-doubt. anxiety, worry. financial stress, you name it.
it's so easy to get caught up in people's successes and feel that things have been handed on a silver plate to others.

 NOTHING is ever easy.

don't be the person who makes the mistake of giving something up before you even try, because it's "too hard" or you "don't think you can do it".
if you give up before you even try, then that's true failure.
otherwise, I'm a firm believer that failure doesn't even exist.

it's human to not want to share our struggles, and our downfalls with other people.
especially with the rise of social media, life's become a highlight reel and people will only ever share the positive things in their life if they share anything at all.

it's not a bad thing, most of the time people want to be inspirational, instill that motivation in others, too. social media is for influence, right?

but never forget that if something amazing has happened or been achieved, there was a whole army behind that thing.

yes, support plays a huge role, so do connections but also so does LUCK. and the universe... and whether God willed that thing into existence for you.
everybody's struggles are different and so are everyones successes. no two are the same because everybody's story, everybody's journey and circumstances are different.

so when will we stop looking over to see if the grass is greener on the other side? it's such an illusion;
the grass is only green where YOU water it _ and if you keep focusing on others, you'll end up neglecting your own garden.

choose to be inspired by others - not jealous - and use that as inspiration to fuel yourself to do great things.

but a disclaimer is that, nothing is easy. and i will die on this hill.
and that's not a bad thing.

 if everything was so easy, there'd be no value in it.

the quote goes:
 "maybe you have to know the darkness before you can appreciate the light."

and I think the same point stands when it comes to hard work and achievement. Would it really feel like an achievement if it didn't take you the grit to get there?

in fact, I don't think the achievement is even in the result - but more so in how you carried yourself to get there. how hard was your journey, and how resilient were you to persevere through it?
because maybe the outcome will be different to what you expected to be.
but it will always be better for you.
because your experiences shape you into the person that can handle whatever outcome you receive.

faith, gratitude and a positive mindset will take you SO far in life.
two people can be going through the exact same hardship - a lot of the time, the difference between who truly succeeds, is who is able to stay strong, remain positive and see the light, and keep moving.
don't be a victim for too long because at the end of the day, no one's going to save you except yourself.
be your own saviour.
you can do it.
